R862 Skywave 1.0.0 — Linux (VST3 + LV2), x86_64
Pulsar Modular — https://www.pulsarmodular.com/

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  - x86_64 Linux with glibc 2.34 or newer:
      Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Linux Mint 21+, Pop!_OS 22.04+, Fedora 35+,
      openSUSE Leap 15.6+, RHEL/Alma/Rocky 9+, Arch / CachyOS / Manjaro.
      NOT supported: Ubuntu 20.04, Debian 11 (glibc 2.31).
    Check yours with:  getconf GNU_LIBC_VERSION
  - libfreetype, libfontconfig and libcurl (present on every desktop install).
  install.sh checks the architecture and glibc version before touching anything.

INSTALL (no root required)
    tar xzf r862-skywave-1.0.0-linux-x86_64.tar.gz
    cd r862-skywave-1.0.0-linux-x86_64
    ./install.sh
  Installs to:
    VST3 -> ~/.vst3/R862 Skywave.vst3
    LV2  -> ~/.lv2/R862 Skywave.lv2
    Presets & User Guides -> ~/.local/share/Pulsar Modular/R862 Skywave/
      (or $XDG_DATA_HOME/Pulsar Modular/R862 Skywave/ when XDG_DATA_HOME is set —
       the same rule the plug-in uses; your own/edited presets are never overwritten)
  Then re-scan plug-ins in your DAW (REAPER, Bitwig, Carla, ...). Ardour and
  Mixbus scan LV2 at start-up: restart them.

USE ONE INSTALL METHOD ONLY (tarball OR .deb)
  If R862 Skywave was installed with the .deb package, remove it first:
           sudo apt remove r862-skywave
  Two copies of the LV2 (~/.lv2 + /usr/lib/lv2) make Ardour/Mixbus (lilv) crash.
  install.sh refuses to run while the package is installed (--force overrides).

UNINSTALL
    ./uninstall.sh (from this folder; your presets are kept)

LICENSING
  R862 Skywave is activated online from its License window (internet access is needed
  to activate and, periodically, to renew). Until it is activated the plug-in
  replaces the audio with noise - that is expected, not a fault.

NOTES
  - Mono: the VST3 runs on mono tracks as the pure AM plant; the LV2 is
    stereo-only (on a mono track the host feeds both inputs).
  - REAPER: prefer the VST3 (REAPER cannot automate LV2 parameters of JUCE plug-ins).
  - Laptops: switch to the 'performance' power profile for low-latency sessions.
  - More notes (licence, HiDPI, realtime privileges, file locations): LINUX-NOTES.txt.
  - Licence agreement: LICENSE.txt.
