Signal Chain
HPF PRE
IN→TREMOR→VOICE→4 EQ Bands→LO SHELF→HI SHELF→LPF→HPF→OUT→Hammer→MIX→Trim Out→OUT
HPF POST
IN→TREMOR→VOICE→4 EQ Bands→LO SHELF→HI SHELF→LPF→OUT→Hammer→HPF→MIX→Trim Out→OUT
POST positions HPF after the Hammer to remove infrasonic rumble introduced by the transformer. LPF always stays before Hammer regardless of this switch.
Global Controls
TREMOR
Slider: left = off · right = more sub + higher freq
First in chain. Injects infrasonic energy (~below 40 Hz) before the EQ bands. Amplitude and frequency rise together. Pair with LOW band attenuation to sculpt, not just add.
VOICE
−100 (darker) to 0 (flat) to +100 (brighter)
Input transformer stage. Spectral tilt rotating tonal balance around 200–500 Hz. CW: highs rise, lows recede. CCW: lows warm, highs soften. Set this first.
OUT
Drive into the Hammer transformer
Hammer off: clean digital makeup gain. Hammer on: feeds transformer directly. Push beyond unity for harmonic density. Use Trim Out to compensate level.
HAMMER
Toggle: OFF (clean) · ON (transformer coloration)
Output transformer stage centered ~100 Hz. Kick gets weight, bass gets definition, vocals get chest resonance. Coloration rolls off above 400 Hz.
MIX
Fully CCW = 100% wet · Fully CW = 100% dry
Parallel processing blend. Constant Power (default) maintains perceived loudness. Heavy sculpting blended back — character stays, dynamics return.
TRIM OUT
Post-MIX · last stage in chain
Trims combined wet/dry without touching Hammer drive or wet/dry balance. Workflow: push OUT into Hammer, set MIX, then Trim Out to unity.
Four EQ Bands
LOW
20 Hz – 400 Hz · ±12 dB
Foundation. Body of bass instruments, kick fundamentals, sub content. Contour X2 adds dramatic thump.
BellContourContour ×2
LO-MID
70 Hz – 1,000 Hz · ±12 dB
Warmth and mud zone. Cut to clean boxy rooms; boost for fullness on thin sources. Overlaps LOW for flexible shaping.
BellContourContour ×2
HI-MID
800 Hz – 11.5 kHz · ±12 dB
Presence and attack. Stepped positions skip 6–7 kHz sibilance zone. Key band for vocals cutting through mixes.
BellContourContour ×2
HIGH
2,500 Hz – 18.5 kHz · ±12 dB
Brilliance and air. Stepped positions skip 8 kHz directly. 6–7 kHz for presence, 9 kHz+ for air and openness.
BellContourContour ×2
Band Saturation Mode (BAND LED)
LED ON (green): Band active as EQ filter. Brighter glow = more boost/cut.
LED OFF (red): EQ curve bypassed. Gain slider controls op-amp saturation directly. Positive = analog warmth. Negative = maximum transparency.
Shelves, Filters & Visualizer
LO SHELF
20 Hz – 2 kHz
Boosts bass with a complementary dip in the low-mids automatically. Weight without mud. Push both shelves together for a natural smile curve.
HI SHELF
1 kHz – 20 kHz
Boosts air with a complementary dip just below the shelf. Brightness without harshness.
HPF 20 Hz–400 Hz · 12 dB/oct
Resonant peak travels with the cutoff — cleaning low end while adding punch. At 400 Hz becomes near-bandpass for lo-fi effects.
PREfilters source before Hammer
POSTfilters Hammer output, removes transformer rumble
LPF 800 Hz–20 kHz · 12 dB/oct
Always before Hammer. Controls harshness or limits bandwidth for creative effect.

Managing Presets
Installation
If Install Presets is selected during installation, factory presets will be overwritten. Your own presets remain intact. Deselect "Install Presets" during updates to preserve factory edits.
Saving Presets
Use Save As in the Preset Manager to create your own presets — prevents replacement during updates. Organize into folders and subfolders inside the Preset Manager.
Preset Locations
Changes appear automatically in Preset Manager.
