Pulsar Modular · Update

Zorba v 1.1.3. It feels your touch.

Zorba already gave you forty years of analog DNA in one instrument. v 1.1.3 makes it respond to you: three new modulation sources, live in the mod-matrix panel, ready to assign and configure on any preset.

01 · MIDI-Learn

With full mapping management.

Right-click any control, move a knob on your hardware, mapped. Then go further from the MIDI menu: save and load complete mapping sets, manage them in a dedicated editor, and set your current mappings as default so your controller layout loads on every new instance of Zorba automatically. Map your rig once and it follows you everywhere.

02 · Polyphonic Aftertouch

Press into a single voice.

A new per-voice source reaching 20 destinations in the matrix, including VCO gain (independent level for VCO1, VCO2 and VCO3), filter cutoff and resonance, pitch, waveform morph, PWM, FM amount, LFO depth, and VCA level. Press into a single voice and reshape just that voice's oscillators. Assign it all in the mod-matrix panel with independent depth on every route.

03 · Breath Controller

A dedicated breath source.

Available across the matrix. Assign it to swells, vibrato, filter motion, or wind-instrument dynamics on any patch you like.

One panel runs it all

The Mod Matrix.

Every route in Zorba is made in one place: pick a source, pick a target, set the depth. v 1.1.3 brings the count to 208 routes across 12 sources and 38 targets, no slot limits, independent depth on every connection. Pre-patched and playable from the first key, yet the matrix rewires as deep as a modular when you want it to. That's up from 174 at launch.

Own Zorba already? Update to v 1.1.3 from your account or straight from the product page, and the new sources appear in the matrix immediately.
