Bug Squash & Performance Boosts

P42 Climax v6.1.0

Class A amplification can now be disabled.

P42 uses both Class A and Class AB amplification stages before hitting the transformer. When we rewrote the code moving from v5.7 to v6.0, Class A was accidentally bypassed — meaning you were only hearing Class AB (mostly odd harmonics), resulting in a cleaner, more pristine sound.

Instead of just fixing the mistake, v6.1 makes it a feature: you can now switch Class A (even harmonics) on or off.

  • Class A On: Original P42 sound with punchy midrange, silky highs, and subtle low-end weight.
  • Class A Off: Cleaner, more transparent tone from Class AB only.

P11 Abyss v2.2.3

Groove button logic restored.

In v2.2, we introduced a Log(x) transition between uncompressed and compressed states. While refining this, the Groove button stopped working correctly. Now in v2.2.3, Groove behaves as intended — active only when Attack or Release are set to millisecond mode (not Auto).

P450 MDN EQ v1.3.1 & P455 MDN Sidecar v1.6.0

Both now run on a fully 64-bit engine, delivering improved dynamic range and reduced internal distortion.
